About the job:
THE JOB

The Global Product and Trade Support (GPTS) Operations Department’s purpose is to ensure a scalable and efficient Global Operation that enhances client experience across the full value chain and reduces cost and complexity.

We require an experienced team member for our GPTS team based in Singapore, responsible for being the intermediary between Saxo’s Front Office and Processing teams, providing support to the Trading and Sales functions.

GPTS provides the Segregation of Duties for Saxo’s operational functions, being Second line of defense for analysis, investigating and solving complex queries, managing trade booking breaks and improving procedures in general.

Among others you will be responsible for:
- Being an effective point of escalation for our stakeholders, providing the link and knowledge to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.- Assessing the risk of the tasks and knowledge in prioritising and escalating accordingly.- Effective/Regular communication with stakeholders to streamline processes and share these with the team so they become best practice.- Taking responsibility for ad-hoc admin duties and projects as instructed by the GPTS Team Lead and Global Head of Nordic Operations.- Carrying out any additional tasks for which the qualifications and experience of a GPTS team member are suited as directed by the stakeholders and clients of Saxo.- Developing and maintaining business documentation.- Working with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver on projects as defined by GPTS Team Lead and Head of Function.- Being the front runner on projects involvement in new business with Operational impact.

General responsibilities:
- Promoting at all times the interests of Saxo.- Consistently achieving results.- Complying with all applicable guidelines and instructions by the Management pertaining to the work in the GPTS role.- Complying with Saxo’s prevailing Security Policy and Business Procedures.- Complying with the legislation in force at all times.- Open to learning new products and processes as they become part of the GPTS function.- Being flexible to change as the team matures reacting in the best interests of the team and Saxo.

YOUR PROFILE

As a person you come across as a confident and highly motivated individual with a strong background in Middle Office / Operations, especially on Futures & Options, and preferably experience within a GPTS role. You must be able to build strong internal and external relationships- Minimum 3 years of financial industry experience in a similar role.- Sound knowledge of financial products offered by Saxo - Listed Options, CFDs, Futures, Forex, Forex Options, Commodities, Crypto FX, Stocks, Bonds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Mutual Funds, Crypto ETFs and Structured Products (preferred).- Up-to-date knowledge of financial markets.- Experience of Middle Office functions.- Commitment to providing excellent customer and stakeholder service.- Positive attitude towards clients and colleagues.- The ability to use own initiative effectively, when appropriate.- Ability to work well under pressure and perform comfortably in high-stress environments, consistently achieving targets.- Able to work early shift - 06:00am to 15:00pm (only on every Monday, for now).- Efficient team player with ability to work on your own when appropriate.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Strong personal motivation and desire to succeed.- Strong work ethic.- Commitment to own professional development.- Project experience (Desirable).- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics (Desirable).
