**The Position**:
A well-established company in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a talented professional to join them as Finance Integration Lead to join them on an ongoing contract basis to assist in the integration process following a major acquisition.

**Responsibilities**:
This position will assist the Director in charge of post-acquisition integration in the restructuring of the new larger group, with the primary objective to synchronise and streamline financial operations, ensuring a seamless integration across the entities.

You will help execute a comprehensive integration strategy for aligning the financial and non-financial systems and processes of the acquired companies, in addition to the validation of data transfer and migration. You will also need to ensure that compliance and risk management processes are effectively integrated into the new structure.

You will be collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders in Finance, Commercial, Legal, IT and Operations, leading various change management initiatives with a core focus on finance process standardisation and business systems harmonisation which will involve identifying new system implementations and optimisations, while providing regular updates to the board on the status, challenges, and achievements of the integration.

**Skills & Experience**:
You will be an experienced Chartered Accountant (8 - 12 years) with a blend of expertise acquired from external audit firms and from commerce & industry. You will have a sound understanding of financial accounting rules, processes, and internal controls with a good understanding of systems integration & implementation. You will be a skilled problem-solver with a positive attitude and the ability to engage and communicate well with stakeholders at different levels and disciplines.
