As part of the regional engineering headquarters of a multinational Industrial Automation Company, the role will be to lead strategic and innovative automation solutions projects with a focus on industrial, collaborative, and autonomous mobile robots that addresses the needs of Industry 4.0 and beyond. The incumbent will be responsible for key deliverables that are of impact to the business in the areas of manufacturing and intralogistics.
- Responsible for key deliverables that are essential for the inauguration of the logistics 4.0 Solutions Development Centre.
- Closely monitor and execute project work, ensuring scope and schedule is met.
- Understand and manage major risks that will affect deliverables and promptly communicate to key team members and stakeholders for escalation.
- Ensure work done is of quality and in compliance with the automation solution system specifications.
- Liaise with system integrators, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure procurement of materials and services are according to schedule.
- Coordinate and manage robotics and automation solutions training program for customers.
- Utilise technical skills and capabilities to assist the engineering team in completing key tasks.
- Lead and manage a team of assigned consultants or contractors allocated to the project.
- Assist with strategic department led skill up projects such as engineering skill map exercise and publication of Automation Handbook.
- Manage the robotics and other automation assets as they move between countries, ensuring reliability during test or demonstration.
- Coordinate with Automation Centre team and ensure Proof of Concept demonstrations are carried out successfully in the Logistics 4.0 Solutions Development Center.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering
- Project Management Certifications such as PMP or equivalent
- 5 - 6 years’ experience in automation projects, with at least 3 years managing / coordinating.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation Systems used in Manufacturing Industries in the areas of Automotive, FMCG, Digital, Semiconductor or Logistics
- Basic Applications Knowledge in Industrial Robots, Cobots or Mobile Robots
- Project management skills - plan, develop and execute
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced experience using MS suite, including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
