**Responsible for the daily operations of the purchasing department including supervision of assistant as well as providing cost effective services through sourcing, evaluation and procurement of supplies**:
1) Source for appropriate products and services with the best possible pricing

2) Objective to reduce cost and consolidate suppliers

3) Keep up-to-date with new and existing products and suppliers’ information relevant to the purchaser’s discipline or area of work

4) Communicate and act as the central point of communication between internal and external clients and the vendors, for all commercial matters

5) Obtain quotations of both materials and services for purpose of estimating and tenders, in a timely and accurate manner

6) Maintain and update purchasing records

7) Able to manage issuance of PR/PO and provide Request for Quotation (RFQ) to suppliers

8) Ad-hoc duties as delegated by immediate superior

**Salary**: From $2,800.00 per month
