- Develop and pitch story ideas to media to increase the organization’s profile locally
- Prepare materials for media and external audiences including media invites, news releases, fact sheets, speeches, talking points for interviewees and FAQs
- Build and maintain relationships with local media, key influencers to enhance company’s reputation
- Manage media requests and queries, including facilitating media interviews and tours
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and develop interesting story ideas to be used for media pitches or at other public forums
- Develop content for a variety of public platforms - commentaries, thought leadership articles
- Support the team in managing the media during incidents/crises
- Monitor media coverage of healthcare-related news; prepare media coverage reports for management
- Plan and support internal stakeholders on events and other assigned projects including advice on event management, protocol for Guest-of-Honour and VIPs and liaison with external vendors

- Administrative tasks for the department as required

Job Requirements
- University Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related discipline
- At least 2 years’ of working experience (not necessarily in healthcare) preferred for senior executive role
- Media pitching experience a plus
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Good research and organisational skills
- Strong EQ and interpersonal skills
