DESIGNATION : DevOps Engineer (AWS/ GCP)

RESPONSIBILITIES

NE Digital is currently hiring a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to accelerate the transformation of our Cloud Infrastructure. We are embracing Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform and Ansible. Our environment is multi-cloud AWS/GCP and private Cloud with hyper-converged infrastructure. Our goal is to standardize and increase public Cloud adoption as well as creating the same capabilities on-prem in a new private cloud environment. Main activities will be as below:

- Implement, Administer and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure Solution that is secure, scalable, and highly available in AWS or GCP
- Design, implement and integrate DevOps and orchestration tools such as Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube Ansible etc to deliver the CI/CD Pipeline.
- Provision, Configure and Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for Cloud Infrastructure in AWS or GCP using tools such as Terraform
- Managing production Kubernetes infrastructure using cloud native Kubernetes solutions such as EKS and GKE
- Build operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
- Maintaining and administering Cloud Resources in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide Support related to technical and administration issues with the Cloud Infrastructure and the CI/CD pipeline
- Troubleshoot, performs root cause analysis, implements corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident.
- Improve and drives the automation for IT Infrastructure operational activities, health checks and performance monitoring
- Continuously Improve Cloud Infrastructure by using Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework Principles
- Managing, Documenting and Review Standard Operating Procedure as well as Policies

QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary education in Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience in a similar position with hands-on experience in managing AWS and/or Google Cloud
- Experience in AWS and/or Google Cloud
- Certified in AWS and/or Google is a plus
- Experience in Server Administration and Configuration
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (e.g: Terraform, Ansible, etc)
- Experience in one or more scripting languages: Powershell, Bash, Python, Perl
- Experience in Dockers, Containers and Kubernetes infrastructure
- Experience in CI/CD (e.g: JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Nexus etc)
- Experience in standard IT security practices (e.g: encryption, certificates, key management)
- Knowledge in Networking - IP Addressing/Subnets, TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, WAF, Load Balancers, DNS, etc.
- Knowledge in standard security concepts for User Management, OS Hardening etc.
- Knowledge in ITIL, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and proven documentation methodology
- Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability
- to interact and communicate effectively across all levels
- Self-starter who is able to identify and perform tasks with mínimal supervision
