- A DevOps engineer should have a wide-ranging knowledge of both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, system administration and DevOps toolchains. With his experience in a traditional developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests, and familiarity with agile principles, a DevOps engineer is able to introduce processes, tools and methodologies to support the technology team in the DevOps journey

**Responsibilities**:

- Brainstorm and conduct POC on new ideas as part of continuous improvement efforts to introduce more values to the pipeline.
- Build a fully automated pipeline to build, test & deploy without manual intervention.
- Automate platform infrastructure provisioning, maintenance of production and development environments.
- Ensure high availability of DevOps tools and perform all maintenance required.
- Implement and maintain testing tools required to support the automation of testing, including working with java scripting or related programming languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions.
- Responsible for analyzing code quality using DevOps tools to ensure developers are following coding best practices.
- Define change management process to integrate DevOps practice and build workflow in Jira with the appropriate approvals at each tollgate.
- Define DevOps tools operating procedures and guidelines.
- Define development, test, release and support processes for DevOps operations.

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- 4+ years overall experience in a DevOps role, with at least 3+ years' hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions workflow and Ansible playbook.
- Good understanding of hardware infrastructure systems (network switches, firewalls, routers etc.) and Linux/Windows/macOS operating system.
- Strong experience in other CI/CD automated tools like Jenkins, Sonatype Nexus, Jfrog Artifactory, UrbanCode Deploy, Aldon.
- Strong experience in configuration management tools (like Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc.).
- Good working knowledge of source control technologies (GitHub, RTC, Bitbucket).
- Understanding of source code management practices, such as branching, merging and tagging.
- Good knowledge in JavaScript(ReactJs, NodeJs), API, microservices,.NET framework.
- Experience with Java build-automation tools using Maven, Gradle, Ant etc.
- Experience in scripting or programming languages (Ruby, Perl, Python, Java, Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience in security tools (SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security, Fortify)
- Experience in testing tools (Jmeter, Junit, Selenium, Katalon, Microfocus UFT, TOSCA)
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Good knowledge on monitoring tools - Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
- Experience with Scrum/Kanban and Agile methodologies and related tools - JIRA, Confluence.
