The Assistant Supply Chain Manager will manage the supply chain operations distributing farm products and other imported products.
- What we Expect from you?
- Meet fulfilment and quality targets established (fulfilment rates, quality metrics and fulfilment lead times).
- Lead supply chain team to address operational and quality related challenges.
- Manage procurement of raw materials such as imported products, packaging materials and other consumables.
- Manage order fulfilment and dispatch processes.
- Improve existing supply chain frameworks, workflows and processes to meet business needs.
- Assist with Supply Chain workflow development
- Contribute to product development or product implementation related projects.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure targets are met.
- Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain / Operations / Engineering or equivalent
- Basic experience working with production staff
- Experience from companies having had operational responsibilities
- Worked in companies undergoing rapid growth and/or significant change programmes
- Basic Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning
- Good, confident communicator. Able to communicate with workers of various skill levels.
- Some knowledge in data analytics, databases and interfaces.
- Some knowledge of teamwork theory and how to establish and develop teams and individuals
- Stakeholder management
- Good knowledge of and ability to use MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
