**About our client**:Our client is one of the major polyolefin manufacturers in Singapore.

**About the role**:

- Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant maintenance, modification, and construction activities to ensure work are carried timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations.
- Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant maintenance and modifications works with no compromise to the safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
- Carry out the mechanical study and modification of plant facilities according to technical specifications and business requirements.
- Performs technical investigation on plant equipment troubles, evaluation of findings and recommend countermeasures to effectively prevent recurrences of similar problems.
- Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
- Respond to plant emergency calls and resolve mechanical troubles within tight schedule.
- Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 450001 and SS651.

**About you**:

- Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the maintenance of mechanical facilities in the oil, petrochemicals, and power industry.
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting and repair of Static Equipment and Rotating Equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, agitators, pumps, compressors and blowers.
- Essential prerequisites include good analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, and a strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.

- Work Hours: Mon - Fri (8.00 am - 4.30 pm)
