Job Objective
Ensures the execution of the Company’s Sustainability Strategy and all targets are closely pursued and all applicable Rules & Regulations contained in the company’s Operating Manual are abided. The Compliance & Sustainability Manager provides all necessary support to his/her colleagues including but not limited to the C&S Dept while ensuring to achieve the set and agreed Departmental KPIs.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist to develop and execute the company’s Sustainability Strategy & Action Plan.
- Monitor the company’s Sustainability Strategy and execution of its defined Initiatives / Targets.
- Identify and report trends and variations in regard to Sustainability & Compliance.
- Organise & execute sustainability-related activities & initiatives.
- Monitor the company’s Supply Chain Compliance & Sustainability Readiness Scoring.
- Coordinate and work with other departments on compliance with all company activities in accordance with the company’s policies.
- Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborating with external Suppliers & service providers to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Perform Supply Chain Audits.
- Collaborating with external Suppliers & service providers to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Maintain the company’s Integrated Management System.
- Maintain the company’s Operating Manual.
**Requirements**:
Education & Qualifications
- Preferably a Degree in Operations Management / Quality Management / Lean Six Sigma or Environmental Engineering
Work Experience
- More than >5 years of relevant experience in a similar key role within the industry
Job Specific Skills
- Experience Excellent knowledge of national or international industry regulations
- Process Improvement and training on the International Standards Organisation (ISO) codes such as ISO 9001, 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 20400 and/or ISO 37000 will be considered an asset.
- Understanding of business management principles.
- Knowledge of the international sustainability framework, GRI, ESG reporting ,etc.
- Excellent evaluation, analytical, research and problem solving skills.
- Very good people management and communication skills, team player, out of the box thinker.
- Fluency in English.
