**What the role is**
- The Strategic Communications & Engagement Division (SCED) oversees the planning, development and execution of public communication strategies and public engagements as well as the management of MND’s social media strategies and platforms to communicate the Ministry’s policies and programmes. SCED’s communications and outreach functions including issues management, media relations, digital communications, events management, marketing communications, publications, and stakeholder engagement. These functions are conducted in an integrated manner to maximise MND’s communications and outreach efforts and to ensure greater synergies across the MND family agencies. You will be part of the Strategic Engagement team, and your role will be to drive and deepen engagement and sensing with internal, external stakeholders and citizens in support of the Ministry’s outcomes and to create more opportunities for Singaporeans to partner the government, and with one another, to own, shape and act on our shared future together.

**What you will be working on**
- 1. Align MND Family agencies with WOG and MND engagement priorities 2. Support the design and implementation of engagement touchpoints with key stakeholders to promote balanced understanding of MND’s policies, obtain input to inform work areas and create opportunities for co-creation and co-delivery with partners 3. Support the development of engagement capability within MND Family and among volunteers/partners to promote active citizenry 4. Strengthen synergy of comms and engagement efforts across MND family, with timely sensing and management of domain issues

**What we are looking for**
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in public policy, political science, communications, marketing, research or related field preferred - Good written and verbal communication skills - Adaptable, patient, strong interpersonal skills, able to understand both internal and external diverse perspectives - Able to take a structured approach and organise the fluid components of engagement - Creative and resourceful individual who is able to work well with a diverse group of stakeholders - Good team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills - Interest in leveraging qualitative and quantitative tools/ platforms - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Open to learning new skills on the job e.g. in presentation, facilitation, graphic design
