**What the role is**
Reporting to the Director (Communications & Community), you will lead a team of officers in developing and implementing the strategic direction of MPA’s communication to promote and protect MPA’s reputation as a global hub port and international maritime centre.
**What you will be working on**
Corporate Communications
- Develop and implement integrated communications strategies and messaging
- Lead the team in preparing communications material in support of MPA and Maritime Singapore’s events and initiatives, including Media Releases, media factsheets, FAQs and other related collaterals
- Proactively engage the media to showcase MPA and Maritime Singapore in a positive light
- Crisis Communications management
Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement MPA’s communications strategy and marketing campaign to
- raise public awareness of Singapore’s role as a global hub port and her pivotal role in the global supply chain,
- strengthen public’s affinity to the maritime sector
- Leverage both qualitative and data-driven insights to inform MPA’s communications strategy and marketing campaign to deliver impact.
**What we are looking for**
- At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience and some prior experience in leading a team preferred.
- Strong communication background with a proven track record in campaign planning, media management and public relations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically to translate information into effective public messages
- Detail-oriented and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
