**Prep Cook Full-time Job Description**
**We are looking for a Prep Cook to help us with the preparation of various dishes. You will be responsible for planning daily kitchen duties by referring to the prep lists from **Chefs **. Also, you should be able to arrange all the required ingredients. You will also be responsible for labeling and storing food items in correct counters.**:
Your other job responsibilities will include washing, chopping vegetables, and cutting meat. Moreover, you should also assist in basic cooking duties such as preparing salads, grilling food. You should be able to work in a team as well as independently. In addition to this, you should ensure compliance with the health and safety guidelines at all times.
**Responsibilities**:
l Complete dailiy preparations from chef
l Labeling and organizing all ingredients on shelves and correct counters
l Prepping and measuring ingredients to be used in cooking
l Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
l Cleaning and cutting meat
l Performing basic cooking duties as instructed by Chefs
l Assisting in preparing salads, grilling food, and reducing sauces
**Requirements**:
l No Experience required as training will be provided.
l Attend WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1 training.
l Good communication and interpersonal skills
l Ability to work independently and collaboratively
l Good time management and organizational skills
**Kitchen Helper Part-time Job Description**
As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for helping the Cooks and Chefs with meal preparations and delivery. You will also be responsible for organizing customers’ plates before serving to the customer.
In addition to this, you should know all the food safety procedures. You should also be monitoring the stock levels and helping in unloading the food deliveries.
To be successful in this job role, you should have extraordinary organizational skills and the ability to work for long working hours. You should also possess excellent time management skills and good communication skills.
**Responsibilities**:
l Organizing the kitchen station with all the required equipment.
l Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients
l Plating and garnishing the food items.
l Ensuring the dish looks presentable and attractive.
l Storing the food properly in the cold storage.
l Checking the kitchen inventory and restocking the items as and when needed.
l Ensuring the kitchen is always clean and sanitized.
l Assisting the Kitchen Assistants, Cooks, Chefs, and other team members.
l Reporting any mishaps in the kitchen to the Management.
l Cleaning the trash bins as and when required.
**Requirements**:
l No Experience required as training will be provided.
l Attend WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1 training
l Ability to stand for a long working period.
l Excellent knowledge and understanding of food safety procedures.
l Excellent customer service abilities.
