**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for buying, and proactively manage all purchases and shipments of spares and stores from approved vendor lists both locally and overseas
- Source for vendors and quotations
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms/ quotations with local and overseas suppliers, and preparation of PR & PO.
- Perform daily operational purchasing matters and coordinate shipping documentation, logistics and schedules.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers and meeting quality requirements
- Monitor stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock level is maintained. Report stock shortages, analyse reasons and suggest solutions.
- Execute cost reduction initiatives
- Maintain good relationship with vendors and develop new networks
- Monitor supplier performance rating / improvement/ development and capacity
- Work towards achieving given objectives such as inventory management, cost reduction, spares and stores availability and quality management
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirement**:

- With 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in relevant field
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a cross functional team
- Have good time management whilst working under tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate, negotiate and build relationships.
