**Position Summary
**As a Value Selling Consultant at Caterpillar, you have the unique opportunity to focus on the development and deployment of Caterpillar’s Value Selling Tool (VST) for dealers and regional Cat team members in the Asia Pacific region. Through this position, you will be able to leverage and grow your skill sets related to marketing and communications, technical and professional knowledge, financial analysis, and software design and development.

**Position responsibilities include but are not limited to**
- Develop and provide training for dealers and Caterpillar industry teams on how to leverage the Value Selling Tool (VST) software during the sales / aftermarket process via live sessions; in-person and remotely
- Master and advocate VST’s capabilities which include deep financial analysis, machine and technology guided selection, fleet & site optimization, aftermarket solutions and more.
- Own and manage financial and fuel data for the Asia Pacific regions in VST
- Own and manage Caterpillar/competitive templates for Asia Pacific regions in VST
- Collaborate with business partners and the Value Selling team to document and prioritize VST software enhancements and bug fixes. This includes dealers, Caterpillar marketing, product group, aftermarket teams, etc.
- Mentoring opportunities for Caterpillar dealers and internal staff
- Travel up to 25% for VST training events, customer visits, and team meetings within the Asia Pacific region

**Basic Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Work Experience: 10+ years of job-related experience in sales, marketing or product support
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Fluency in English is required, Chinese and/or Indonesian fluency desired.
- Relationship Building: Good human relations skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with peers, dealers, and customers. Agile mindset with the ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the ability to influence others and resolve differing perspectives.
