**Assistant Manager (Property)**:
**Responsibilities**
- Manage all service providers and contractors on all maintenance, operations and renovation works and to ensure that all works comply with statutory requirements and code of practice.
- Handle and oversee the day-to-day housekeeping, operations and maintenance of the Chamber’s properties and booking of conference facilities through either direct management and/or a 3rd party managing agent.
- Draft work specifications & invite for quotations and tender (if necessary).
- Source quotations and put-up approval for repair, replacement, improvement works.
- Devise and implement maintenance programmes to ensure proper upkeep of properties.
- Ensure proper and updated file records of all term contracts’ service reports, inspection reports, documentations, and related correspondences.
- Work closely with Finance, the Managing Agent, and onsite staff.
- Assist in the preparation of property annual budgets and forecast.
- Liaise and attend MCST meeting when necessary.
- Assist to co-ordinate with team members and site staff when there are events.
- Advise and follow-up with tenants on reinstatement works, handover of office premises and refund of security deposit.
- Promote good landlord & tenant relationship.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree holder in Real Estate or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in Building and Facility Management and/or Mechanical & Electrical.
- Knowledgeable in building operations, AV/IT system and maintenance works, as well as relevant authorities’ requirements and current code of practices.
- Certification with ‘Fire Safety Manager’ will be an advantage.
- Possess a vehicle will be an advantage.
- Would be required to travel between sites.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
