**Job Overview**:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, APAC is responsible for the financial planning and analysis functions of all 3 brands - Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons - across all the markets of APAC. The FP&A Lead is responsible for managing the P&L for the APAC business and providing insights on the business to the leadership team to drive short-term and medium-term strategic decision-making. They should identify challenges in the business and work cross-functionally to propose and create solutions. The FP&A Lead owns the development of the APAC Budget (on an annual basis), the full-year forecast (on a monthly basis), and various variance analyses comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts and prior year results. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and overlook our franchisee support team to guarantee the timeliness of collections.
The FP&A Lead reports directly to the APAC Head of Finance, with an FP&A analyst and 2 Franchise Support analysts reporting to them. In addition, the position works with other functions within the organization, including the Global Finance and Development teams, Global Tax and Accounting teams, APAC Marketing team, APAC Development, Profitability, and Field teams.

They can drive the company's strategic plan by developing the budget and multi-year strategic plan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Tracking the financial performance of the business
- Manage the APAC P&L to provide visibility and insights to the APAC leadership team and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify business challenges and work cross-functionally to propose and create solutions
- Lead the development of the APAC budget through a partnership with the APAC Marketing and Development teams, on an annual basis, and full-year forecast, on a monthly basis
- Develop and build relationships with a diverse group of teams and stakeholders in APAC and other regions globally
- Perform variance analyses comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts and prior year results to identify action items for the business
- Work with Development and Field teams on open receivable issues, restaurant closures, and other topics impacting APAC Franchisees
**Your skills and experience**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/business faculty
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Previous experience in Investment Banking/Finance or Accounting consulting will be an advantage
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Any additional language will be an advantage
- Ability to develop financial models and consolidate financial statements
- Ability to perform variance analyses
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
