**Snr Sales Specialist / Assistant Sales Manager**:

Join us as a Senior Sales Specialist / Assistant Sales Manager for the Process Automation Business area where you will be responsible for the sales of Data Center product and services in Singapore and Malaysia and contributing to the overall DC business in Local Division Singapore/Indonesia. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to customer needs and issues. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager - BU Data Center Automation, Growth Industries and based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Achieving sales targets (volume, prices) in the data centre industry
- Managing sales enquiries in timely manner, including preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices
- Coordinating and working closely with Operations teams and Supply Chain Management team
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of our product/services offer and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstrations to customers as part of sales pursuit or for sales related events
- Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of the transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions)
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Following up on order with customer and internally, suppliers and contractors till all contractual requirements are fulfilled
- Ensuring safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment; attendance at required health, safety and environment training; report injury, incidents, hazards and near miss events. Model safe work behaviour in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls

**Your background**:

- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of Controls/Automation or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the data centre industry
- Strong sales track record from start to complete project and installations
- Technical Knowledge in Data Center infrastructure market in South East Asia
- Proven customer and market orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent, reliable, and proactive personality
