**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Seeking out and developing sales opportunities for SS&C's Institutional and Investment Management Division- Manage assigned territory and develop on-going pipeline- Prospect for new opportunities and participate in marketing activities, trade shows and conferences- Manage complex sales cycle from discovery phase to close including the co-ordination of RFP's, Proof of Concepts and client presentations- Co-ordinate and direct all sales activities including pre-sales consulting resources- Communicate deal information to management, accurately forecast pipeline, manage revenue recognition issues and deal closure- Provide insight and deal related product gaps to Product Management- Achieve annual revenue targets for revenue and new accounts
Position Requirements- 5+ years of corporate level sales with 2+ years selling in the buy side community or investment management industry- Ability to maintain and organize a detailed weekly and monthly regiment of leads.- Outstanding organizational and communication skills- Focus will be on generating revenues through new business development.- Proven background in closing sales deals.- Relationship management, business needs analysis, RFP response process, product presentation skills, price quote generation.- Knowledge of the investment and wealth management industry- Overnight travel within a designated territory may be required.- Minimum BA/BS Degree required.
