**SIKA (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD** established in 1978 is a wholly owned company of Sika AG in Switzerland and a member of the Sika Group of Companies.

The principal activities of the company are manufacturing, trading, and supply of specialty construction chemicals in the building and construction industry.

Over the years we have successfully established our technical assistance, services, and product solutions for various projects in different sectors.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of Mechanical & Electrical & Instruments Technician would need to perform the following.

**General Function**
- To carry out troubleshooting and maintenance works and to ensure that all machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
- To carry out production duties in accordance to the Production / Maintenance Supervisor’s instruction.
- To keep proper maintenance record and relevant permit to work

**Responsibilities**

PLANT & EQUIPMENT

1. Maintenance of machine and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.

2. Repair and maintain the factory building and surrounding yard.

3. Provide backup maintenance support and prepare to be called back for emergency repairs.

PRODUCTION

4. Carry out production duties to meet production output when necessary.

**SAFETY**

5. Ensure that all equipment, tools and machinery are safe and well maintained.

6. Perform repairs to eliminate or minimise safety hazards.

7. Meet company’s established safety standards.

**ENERGY EFFICIENCY**

8. Assist in assessment of energy efficiency opportunity to reduce energy usage in plant.

9. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**Qualifications** Formal Education**
- Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

**Technical**
- Excellent hands-on experience

**Computer**

**Essential**
- Electrical & Mechanical & Instrument Background with preferably minimum 2 years expereince
- Able to speak simple English
- Able to read electrical diagrams
