Team Summary**

Reporting to the Regional Risk Officer, the AP Risk Strategy & Operations team drives general Risk Strategy for AP to protect Visa and promote trust in the ecosystem through:

- executing the 2nd Line of Defense Corporate Risk programs in AP
- supporting the effectiveness of the Regional Risk Officers in the markets through all Risk related regulation, innovation, analytics and initiative execution
- managing risk for the Global Issuing and Acquiring clients, and
- liaising with Global Risk and AP regional cross functional teams
**What a** ERM & Business** Risk Director **does at Visa**

The Director ERM & Business Risk will be part of the AP Corporate Risk team. The AP Corporate Risk team acts as a Second Line of Defense function, oversees Visa’s risk profile, challenges the First Line business functions who are responsible to manage Visa’s risks, and ensure consistent coverage of risk engagement with Visa’s supervisors and regulators in Asia Pacific. Within this team, the Director, ERM & Business Risk will lead Enterprise Risk Management and Products & Services Risk, as well as supporting the wider Corporate Risk responsibilities (e.g. Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Operational Resilience, M&A risk).

Specifically, on Enterprise Risk Management, she/he will:

- Execute regionally on Enterprise Risk Management initiatives as agreed with Global Risk and AP regional leadership (including roll out and 1st and 2nd line training of the Global Risk Oversight (GoRO) Platform)
- Lead market level and sub-regional risk assessments, adding strategic value to Country Managers, Group Country Managers (GCMs) and Regional President
- Provide comprehensive reporting on Asia Pacific Top Risks, offering insights to AP Leadership Team, Global Risk and Visa Executive Leadership
- Contribute to the Quarterly AP Regional Risk Committee, being responsible for consistent execution and governance of this important forum
- Facilitate the Quarterly AP Control Scorecard ensuring the AP business accurately and consistently reports on performance and progress against key control environment scorecard actions
- Ensure in-market Chief Risk Officers and their direct reports are enabled to be the trusted voice of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, taxonomies and processes

Specifically, on Products & Services Risk, she/he will:

- Perform second line oversight, act as SME and manage broader socialization for AP impacted New Business Impact Assessments (NBIAs)
- Be the AP Risk Business Partner and SME for Product and Services related risks and initiatives
- Partner with product, innovation and cross-functional stakeholder teams to ideate, develop and successfully deliver on strategic initiatives, in alignment with Visa’s risk appetite

**Projects you will be a part of**:
As the ERM and Business Risk lead for Visa Asia Pacific, you will be a key member of the Asia Pacific Risk Team, advising the AP Regional Risk Officer (RRO) and AP regional risk leadership team, hub & global functional leads on strategies related to complex operational, financial, legal and regulatory risk exposures.

The delivery of these initiatives will require close collaboration with senior leadership in the region and with stakeholders in Global Risk, regional Control functions and business functions.

- 12+ years of relevant experience in one of the following functions: Corporate/Risk Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Product Risk, or related areas
