Legal and Compliance Officer

Greenwoods is looking to hire an experienced Legal & Compliance Officer to join their regulatory and compliance team based in Singapore and/or Hong Kong.
- Prepare all compliance documents for the Company and funds/accounts managed by the Company.
- Review and update all compliance policies and procedures and provide trainings to ensure compliance of staff of the Company and funds/accounts managed by the Company.
- Review, discuss, and negotiate documents such as PPMs, investment management agreements (IMAs), ISDA agreements, prime brokerage agreements, IT service agreement, liability insurance policies, and other documents with parties such as lawyers, investors, fund administrators, brokers, and other service providers.
- Prepare the legal and compliance sections in the Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) and attend operational due diligence (ODD) meetings with investors to answer questions related to legal and compliance affairs and respond to questions and inquiries from investors.
- Inquire and discuss with legal advisors, lawyers, and compliance advisors about legal and compliance issues.
- Coordinate with fund administrators and clients to solve legal and compliance related issues.
**Job Requirements:
- Degree holder from a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience as legal counsel in reputable hedge funds / law firms in Singapore and/or Hong Kong.
- Familiar with SFC, MAS, SEC asset management regulations and Cayman funds.
- Familiar with Asset management compliance and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Great ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and multitask.
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
Remuneration package and benefits will be salary will be commensurate with experience.
