**Job Description**:
Sompo Holdings (Asia) Pte. Ltd. ("SHDA") was established as a regional headquarters (Head office is in Japan) responsible for management, planning and development of non life insurance businesses in Asia ex Japan.
The Chief Information Officer of SHDA is responsible for managing SHDA and the group companies in Asia ex Japan by
- Define and accelerate the regional IT and Digital strategy/activity plan collaborating with headquarters in Japan and the U.S., group companies, 3rd party partners.（Long/Mid/Annual Term）
- Conducting IT Governance for the comprehensive IT management matters including cyber security to monitor the group company's IT management situation.
- Supporting group companies by planning and leading the IT and Digital solution or practice for the common issues and interests across the region.
- Exploring the opportunity to expand the business by using digital in Asia ex Japan.
- Reporting group companies’ IT state aligning with IT Governance and IT plan perspectives to the headquarters in Japanese and the U.S.
- Developing the IT organization in our group companies
- Creating the synergetic effect in our group by group discount and knowledge sharing
Job Requirement
・Experience of non-life insurance business at least 15 years
・Experience of system development, maintenance, operation at least 20 years
・Experience of IT Governance to subsidiaries as a head office member at least 10 years
・Experience of digital related initiatives at least 3 years
・Experience of working at consulting firm related to the IT at least 5 years
・Multiple experience of leading core system implementation project in insurance company
・Wide and deep knowledge about multiple standards like PMBOK, ITIL, CAT, NIST and so on
・Fluent Japanese language skill (written, spoken, and reading - requiring JLPT N1 level) due to liaising with headquarters in Japan
