As a **Digital Workplace Engineer** you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high-quality products for our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
Additionally, this individual should have good project management skills and have a problem-solving attitude with an ability to influence team to achieve goals and objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring alignment of solutions evolution with the overall IT architecture landscape, with the strategic move towards a cloud first architecture.
- Supporting the development of a business plan related to the adoption of new End User technologies and providing expert support to business counterparts and operations, as required.
- Managing and developing desktop/digital workplace architecture and ensure solution meet the necessary security, supportability, performance requirements.
- Ensuring quality compliance and managing projects technology adoption according to the methodology.
- Review internal processes and adhere to service excellence for end users
- Ability to assist in Digital Workplace BAU operation and conduct in-depth diagnostics on Microsoft products, e.g. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intunes, Microsoft 365 products and services and response according to SLAs.
- Be able to work individually and collaborate with internal teams effectively.
- Incident & service management; logging of requests, support calls and escalating where appropriate into the Service Management tool.
In order to be successful at the role, you must have the following:
- 5+ years of experience working in a team supporting sizable digital services within a high growth and rapidly changing environment. Experience in financial services is advantageous
- A degree in a technical discipline, e.g. information systems, computer science, electrical engineering etc. is preferred but not required
- Experience in the desktop hardware and software support for a corporation, the experience of initial setup an advantage
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and own the issues
- Experience supporting MacBook, PCs, laptops, Smartphones, iPads, iPhones etc. In-depth, hands on problem solving expertise in desktop hardware, operating systems and software packages, e.g. O365, Azure AD, OKTA, VMware Workspace ONE, Networking, Windows10, MacOS, Windows Virtual Desktop Environment,
- A good understanding of structured cabling or Wi-Fi connectivity e.g. Cisco routers, switches, Wireless Access Points i.e. WAP, and networking
**Role Specific Technical Competencies**
