Singapore Rainmaking APAC Full time

**The Role**

Working in tandem with one other as a team of two, you will run a cohort-based programme supporting a group of ~12 early and growth stage startups to grow their businesses in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

You will work in partnership with the startups’ founders and expansion leads to validate potential expansion markets, localize GtM and build local partnerships and new revenue opportunities.

A key focus of your role will be to find and validate commercial opportunities in Singapore/Southeast Asia to create the rails for new market launch for the startups that you are working with.

**You will need to**:

- Quickly build trust & rapport with startup founders, understanding their business, existing asset base, growth agenda and strategic objectives
- Intelligently identify potential commercial growth opportunities in Singapore/Southeast Asian markets
- Contact potential partners, customers and investors, offering compelling reasons for collaboration with your startup partners
- Drive action, iteration and momentum towards commercial outcomes
- Decisively prioritise high value activities, focusing your efforts only on activities that will drive outsized value in terms of enduring commercial expansion for your startup partners

**You have done your job well if**:
Startups that you work with have been able to successfully generate new revenue and launch commercial operations in new Southeast Asian markets.

**Requirements**:
**You are likely a good fit if you**:

- are an excellent individual contributor
- have led market expansion in a startup at Series A or later stage
- have experience being the lead manager/organiser of a startup cohort programme
- have a successful track record in B2B sales in Singapore/Southeast Asia
- build baseline competence very rapidly when confronted with something you have never done before
