The China Affairs Office is dedicated to help the university to foster mutually win-win relations with China partners through diverse collaboration activities.

This role will be reporting to Director, China Affairs Office, and will be based in Singapore.

In this role, you will:

- Support key Steering Committee meetings including but not limited to being a liaison for quarterly meetings, meeting preparation and preparation of communication with Steering Committee members on project progress, etc.
- Support various NTU - China collaboration projects, in accelerating internal processes with preparation of documents and analysis, including internal proposal, financial budgeting, memorandum, agreements, project KPI tracking, etc, by working with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Assist in discussion / negotiation with China collaborating parties in collaboration project details whenever needed.
- Serve as one of the focal points in hosting delegations from and taking care of all staffing, secretariat and logistics matters to facilitate the visit.
- Support in the preparation of NTU's major events in China by working closely with relevant functions in NTU.
- Connecting with colleges and schools to maintain an updated and integrated view of all collaboration activities in China.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree, mínimally 8 years + working experience, prefer in areas of project management, business administration, business planning, commercial, etc.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin, verbally and written, as translation would be required for project management purposes.
- A strong team player and great interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively as a responsible and cooperative team player.
- Good communication skills to get buy-in from targeted audience both internally and externally.
- Excellent organising skills.
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Result oriented, self-motivated, positive thinking and adaptable to changes.
- Experience in dealing with Chinese organisations is a plus.
- Project management experience is a plus.
