**1. Background**

SMCCI is an independent non - profit organisation. The chamber plays a proactive role in representing the interests of the local Malay/Muslim business community. In line with our mission to nurture a vibrant entrepreneurial culture amongst local enterprises, SMCCI serves as a platform to create invaluable opportunities for members through regular business missions, conferences, networking sessions and activities to bridge members and the business community to the local and overseas markets. We advocate strengthening core competencies while increasing knowledge and enhancing internal capabilities to achieve growth and success for their businesses.

SMCCI Academy is the go-to centre for business excellence. We train entrepreneurs and individuals through a stratified syllabus with the aim to transform them into high potential entrepreneurs or future-ready employees.

**2. Purpose and Scope**

The Project Executive, SMCCI Academy play an essential role in providing solution-based advices and facilitating a full-scale range of services to the members of the chamber by working with other stakeholders and partners.

The Project Executive will ensure that the key programme management deliverables which includes business revamping assessments, marketing, facilitating the incubation programme roles in the areas of digitalisation and sustainability are in place.

The role also includes supporting the chamber’s other programmes and events in line with its bigger mission of nurturing Malay/Muslim businesses.

**3. Key Accountabilities and Role Outputs**

The Project Executive for SMCCI Academy's Incubation Centre, he/she will be required to:

- Determine and identify the digital requirements of each members and to promote the adoption of new digitalisation initiatives/partners to the businesses.
- Determine and identify the sustainability requirements of each members and to promote the adoption of new initiatives/partners to the businesses.
- Research and work closely with technology partners to encourage the adoption of new digital technology.
- To plan and execute campaigns and events with SMCCI Business Group, to promote the adoption of digital initiatives through various available ecommerce platforms.
- To provide personalised assistance and support to members in developing their businesses.

**4. Skills, Knowledge and Experience** **Requirements**
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage merchants to adopt digitalisation, explore sustainability and connect with the right partners for their business finance needs. **Strong interpersonal skills should include active listening, empathy and the ability to understand diverse business perspectives.**:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write reports, correspondence and deliver presentations to a high standard. **The ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner is crucial.**:

- Proficiency in digital marketing and ecommerce is an advantage
- Proficiency in Environmental, social, and corporate governance is an advantage
- Minimum diploma in IT, Marketing, or Business related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

**Work Arrangement**: Hybrid

Pay: From $2,800.00 per month
