**What the role is**
- To provide strategic communications and engagement counsel to EMA's management and departments.

Responsibilities will include:

- Develop communications and engagement plans for EMA's policies, initiatives and events for both international and local media and audiences
- Work with PR agency to plan and execute an annual communications plan in support of EMA's key focus areas and the Singapore Energy Transition.
- Work with parent ministry and stakeholders on message development and engagement strategies
- Lead in media cultivation, formulating media materials for announcements and crafting talking points
- Keep abreast of media and energy landscape and narratives internationally and locally to maximise media pitches and opportunities
- Execute communications for issues or crisis management

**Requirements**:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in communications
- Results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as providing guidance to team members
- Adaptable and enjoys engaging different stakeholders
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills
