Lendlease Digital

is seeking a Building Services Design Lead to collaborate with the computational design team in creating apps and services that meet the needs of Lendlease’s development, design, and construction project teams. This exciting opportunity will involve utilizing technology to solve complex problems, with a focus on developing digital skills and gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as design automation and software development.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate within cross-functional (Engineers, Architects, Software Developers) team to develop and deliver digital products to meet customer requirements.- Gather, define, and maintain design requirements for the development of MEP systems.- Conduct research with industry SMEs to provide guidance on system development and codify rules on industry best practice.-
- Create and develop working computational design prototypes.- Prepare and maintain concise documentation associated with the designed systems.- Work with and help mentor Digital Graduates to develop their technical competencies.- Regular testing/use of Lendlease software functionality to be wholly familiar with its capabilities.

To be a success in this role it is desirable, but not essential to have;- Should ideally have a design consultancy background and worked in a multi-disciplinary environment with Architects and C&S Engineers.- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 -8 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design for modern industrial, residential, and commercial buildings.- Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering design, capable of working with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop technical content.- Experience working with Public Bodies (such as JTC/HDB/BCA) based in Singapore.- Experience in all aspects of Singapore BCA Green Mark Certification to a Platinum rating and ideally - LEED® and WELL Building Certification as they relate to Building Services and energy consumption/management.- Ability to think beyond the project level - we are approaching our industry from a digital-first mindset and as a system of systems.- Experience with 3d software, parametric/generative modelling and automation experience, Revit/Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper, etc. is a plus.
