**About the Team**:

- Shopee Paid ads team was established in 2016 to provide an e-commerce advertising platform by relying on Shopee’s massive data. Our expertise covers data, high performance AI-based online services, distributed systems, machine learning algorithms, and ads business strategies. The team places a strong emphasis on technology and strives to achieve innovation.- Develop the marketplace backend system of Shopee Ads to support ads products such as search, recommendation and display ads
- Design, build and manage ads systems with high performance, scalability and availability, enhancing Shopee’s infrastructure
- Improve the platform’s efficiency and stability to cater to the rapid growth of business
- Work on the end-to-end project delivery, and continuously refactor and optimise systems for the implementation of key strategies and advertising modules such as ads targeting, recall, and ranking
- Lead the team to develop end-to-end solutions to meet the needs of business iteration and development
- Drive technical and product innovations, connect with businesses directly to understand business operations and build well organised technical documentations and improve development efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant majors.
- Solid background knowledge in computer science and engineering.
- Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages such as Go, C/C++, Java
- More than 5 years of work experience in medium or large scale production projects.
- Familiar with Linux based development and commonly used tech components, such as Redis, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Etcd, etc.
- Have in-depth understanding of ads systems and business, rich experience in design and development of large scale, high concurrency systems with complex business logic.
- Have a deep understanding and solid knowledge in one or more following areas: high-performance computing, distributed computing, large-scale storage, machine learning, service-oriented architecture governance.
- Have good teamwork and communication skills, with a strong initiative and is highly self-driven.
- Have a good product sense and sensitivity to business, proactively focus on product effectiveness and actively promote the implementation and improvement of product solutions.
- Rich experience in ads / search / recommendation systems development is preferred.
