KEY OBJECTIVES
To operate and maintain all marine systems in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Compliance Assurance Management System (CAMS).
To understudy the Marine Supervisor and assume his duties and responsibilities during his absence.
DIMENSIONS
Responsible for all offtakes and storage transfers, custody meters, export meters, etc.
Supervision of Marine Technicians/S&O Operators, and Pump-men.
Provide guidance to all members of the cargo team in matters pertaining to the safe operating of the facility.
Is deemed by position to ensure that compliance to the company CAMS is followed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To monitor facility stability with reference to stability, trim, stress and bending moments when on shift.
Carryout out duties in accordance with IMS documents and best Industry practices.
Ensure compliance to HSSEQ policies, MAPP Policy, procedures and guidelines during activities.
Comply with Process Safety Management System.
Implement the cargo and ballast plan when on shift.
Manage the discharge of produced water to designated plan when on shift.
Assist Marine Supervisor with tank washing and gas-freeing operations as “responsible person”.
Ensuring the offtake equipment and machineries, such as the IGS system, offtake meter and prover, cargo pumps, are always functioning correctly.
Responsible for the operation of the cargo pump during offtake operation and assist as required.
Periodic inspection of cargo/hydraulic lines.
Calculate daily production figures by way of manual ullages.
Maintain facility keys and security systems.
