R&D Technician, CRM

The R&D Technician is responsible, as member of the interdisciplinary R&D team, to provide technical support for product and process development during the R&D Project. This includes generating prototypes and concepts for product and processes, documentation and support transfer to manufacturing. Further, the R&D Technician will support the Operation Team in required training activities to ensure the processess will be correctly operated.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Provide first level technicial support and generate ideas to the R&D project for product design solutions and process possibilities and equipment options
- Support the product development and its verification testing
- Conduct building of test samples and feedbacks to the engineers about possible product and process improvements
- Support the development of processess and its capability testing
- Document and report all activities according to the quality system
- Ensure R&D lab and work stations are in excellent housekeeping conditions
- Train and educate operators, technicians and other engineers
- Support operator training
- Other duties as assigned
- Able to perform shift work as and when necessary

**Your Profile**
- Higher NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering discipline
- At least 1 year of relevant experiences, preferably in medical device industry or high volume production industry
- Prior technical experience in Electronics/Manufacturing environment including automation will be an added advantage
- Meticulous, responsible, flexible, independent and customer oriented
- Experience working in project environment with good problem solving skills
