The mobile-first Singlife Account - with a Singlife Debit Card - allows customers to save, spend, earn and be insured all in one app. Singlife with Aviva was formed by the merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife. First announced in September 2020 and valued at S$3.2 billion, it was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in the republic.
**Purpose of the role**
Partnering closely with the People Development Lead, this role is responsible for leading and driving L&D initiatives while cultivating a development culture for the enterprise. This includes shaping and executing the L&D strategy for Singlife with Aviva.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Propose and design L&D solutions with a focus on learning effectiveness and experience _
- Provide consultation and advisory support to business stakeholders to maximise the value and impact of L&D solutions
- Identify and/ or develop L&D strategies and programmes to support business needs, drive business performance and develop employee capabilities
- Provide input on instructional design, structure and delivery of initiatives
- Stakeholder and vendor management _
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on L&D related matters to drive consistency of functional strategies, processes and messages
- Partner with strategic third parties to develop and embed L&D initiatives that enhance our overall employer brand
- Maintain strong engagement with business stakeholders and training vendors
- Utilisation of digital tools including LMS and Online Learning Platforms _
- Develop and implement L&D strategy supported by digital tools and platforms
- Maintain account and access, user permissions and liaise with business stakeholders to create and update learning resources
- Management, measurement and analysis of L&D initiatives _
- Collect, review and analyse training data, learning trends and learner feedback for useful insights that inform current and future L&D needs
- Define measurement of L&D initiatives outcomes and impact
- Manage and advise stakeholders on available funding, training incentives and accreditations
**Requirements**:
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in L&D curriculum design and/ or facilitation role
- Experience in LMS including user and system administration, database reporting, configuration, testing and issue resolution
- Experience with online learning platforms (e.g., Skillsoft, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, etc.)
- Collaborative and influential in partnering with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment
- Able to navigate between process orientation and stakeholder centricity
- Able to work independently in a functional role, as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong interpersonal and communications abilities including verbal, written and presentations skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and change
- In-house (preferably financial services) combined with prior management consulting experience highly desirable
Education
- Academic: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any discipline
- Professional Certification(s): ACTA or ACLP accreditation (preferred)
