**Roles & Responsibilities**

We are looking for a native-level Chinese speaking headhunter to join our expanding Asia Pacific Energy practice in Singapore.

**Outline**
- **Networking**: develop relationships with Chinese energy professionals with a core focus on the trading & origination community across oil, LNG, power and renewables
- **Research and market intelligence**: engage with the Chinese energy community on a daily basis in order to have a deep understanding of market activity

**Responsibilities**
- Clients:_
- Gather market intelligence and develop a keen understanding of target and existing clients spanning trading houses, utilities, producers, refiners, banks, hedge funds, etc.
- Provide support for the entire lifecycle of the Search project (e.g. prepare marketing collateral; attend client meetings; qualify job leads; produce project documentation; handle interview logistics; gather feedback)

**Qualifications**
- Strong command of English in order to advise international clients on Chinese energy market activity and talent availability
- Predisposed to thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Able to handle a substantial flow of information and prioritise accordingly
- Accountable, possess ownership mentality, inquisitive and enthusiastic
- Proactive with a “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of the Chinese energy sector is preferred but not essential. This would typically have been gained from working in a related business such as Chinese energy trading or broking business
