DESIGNATION : Research Engineer (1-year contract), SCIS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of new NLP methods
- Implementation of the developed methods
- Evaluation of the implemented methods
- Writing of research papers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or having completed four years’ of study in a degree program with good academic results) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in NLP
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and PyTorch will be positively considered
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on NLP, particularly large language models
- Experience with at least one large language models, such as GPT APIs, LLaMA or Alpaca is preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of machine learning and NLP model training
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Applicants with research publications in NLP area will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
