Reference No- 23585- Job Title- Data Centre Investment Broker- Type- Permanent- Salary- Competitve- Division- Commercial- Sub Division- Asia Pacific- Department- Asia Pacific Capital Markets - (SINGAPORE)- Location- Singapore APOur market-leading Asia Pacific Capital Markets team is looking for a Data Centre Investment Broker, based in our Singapore office. You will be responsible for the data centre advisory business in APAC covering the investment, development and colocation acquisition services.

**Responsibilities**

**Development Agency**
- Secure sell side / buy side instructions with landlords and operators for the acquisition of data centre development land parcels across APAC on a freehold / leasehold (powered shell) basis.
- Work alongside regional, in-country teams to identify suitable data centre development land options within the key micro Cloud locations in emerging / tier 2 markets.
- Provisioning of said sites via negotiation of power allocations, designing of data centre schemes and overseeing of the zoning process.
- Facilitate joint ventures between local industrial developers and data centre operators.

**Investment Agency**
- Identification of data centre investment opportunities throughout APAC across the powered shell, operational platform and sale & leaseback markets.
- Lead pitches for the disposal of these assets securing multiple mandates across different markets in APAC.
- Prepare marketing collateral, conduct valuations and run sales campaigns acting as the point of contact between landlords and investors.
- Negotiate heads of terms for the acquisition / disposal of investment properties securing the most favourable pricing for the client.

**Colocation Acquisition**
- Exploration of the APAC occupational market and existing Knight Frank relationships to offer real estate technical advice on hybrid IT strategies.
- Secure instructions acquiring technical white space in existing data centres on behalf of enterprise and tier 2 Cloud / tech companies.
- Tour facilities, assess availability and ultimately negotiate Service Level Agreements with operators looking to secure the most affordable / secure lease terms for your clients.

**_Qualifications/Education Required._**
- 3+ years’ experience in the data centre advisory sector.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- DC Pro Certified Data Centre Specialist & Data Centre Practitioner.

**_Career Experience_**
- Sufficient knowledge of EMEA / APAC data centre markets.
- Existing relationship held with Knight Frank EMEA Data Centre team.
- Experience acquiring / disposing of data centre real estate and operational businesses.
- Experience in acquiring data centre colocation space on behalf of financial institutions globally.
