We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior API Product Manager - Wholesale Digital.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Lead the delivery of HSBC’s API propositions and capabilities in a manner that is sufficiently flexible, scalable, simple and consistent in meeting the needs of both global and local businesses
- Manage each stage of the API product lifecycle from strategic planning & roadmap, requirements, development, user acceptance testing, deployment, launch plans, identify internal communication and training needs for client facing staff
- Proactively work with client facing team, compliance, audits, and engineering teams in resolving product/technical issues that may arise to deliver a superior customer experience
- Streamline customer onboarding, integration and support model to create a superior customers and partners experience
- Understand the needs of customers and partners to deliver a scalable and best in class API offerings and positioning HSBC as a leading provider of digital services across the various customer segments that we serve
- Support regional digital initiatives, design alignment with global build, synergy across markets countries and partner with product & country managers
- Work across country program working groups steering committee meetings (as required), provide stakeholder updates on roadmap, delivery schedule and risks with a focus on customers and organization business goals
Requirements
- Experience in building, consuming and launching API based products and services specifically in platforms, and ecosystems
- Hands-on experience and expertise in API specification, documentation, developer portal & sandbox
- Demonstrate deep understanding of digital market trend and make recommendations to keep abreast of client needs
- Complex and analytical reasoning along with technical and computer skills
- Comfortable in working with virtual cross border remote teams and execution in a matrix organization
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence different stakeholders
- Team player, organised, able to work with little or no supervision and comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
- Ability to make practical and timely decisions and explain reasoning for the decisions
- Experience in banking is not required
- Minimum 5 years experiences
