Manage and cultivate existing relationships with other members of the Waystone finance team and other members of the operational team covering but not limited Business Development, People, Risk and Technology.
Provide financial and commercial support and guidance to the broader operational team to help drive revenue growth and manage expenditure to contribute to Waystone’s growth both locally and globally.
Support key management in the decision-making process by being able to provide tailored financial information relevant to the issue.
Manage the accounting process for the entities throughout the month. This includes all financial activities relating to client invoicing, intercompany recharges, accounts payable, cash and bank, wages and salaries, corporate and other forms of tax etc.
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Board Pack to be presented to Management/ Directors.
Manage the current relationships with third-party suppliers, servicers and outsourced providers.
Mange the cashflows of the entities’, including liquidity, and provide consistent reporting regarding the cash position and outlook in a timely manner.
JOB DESCRPTION
Lead the local financial planning process on an annual basis and provide monthly reporting on performance versus budgeted to all stakeholders.
Manage the local financial audit process and assist in the preparation of materials for presentation to the local Directors.
Ensure adherence to the latest applicable accounting standards in the relevant jurisdiction and that planning and adoption of changes occurs.
Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedural manuals for local usage in line with group policies relating to matters including intercompany recharges and cash and liquidity management.
Continually keep abreast of industry, technical, tax and regulatory changes and topics.
Ensure that all tax compliance matters, including periodic and annual filings, are managed and timelines are meeting. Management all internal and external stakeholders involved in the process.
Ensure that the local entities are compliant and up-to-date for all financial, tax and regulatory filings required for the entities.
Liaising with local payroll providers to manage the payroll process and working with Waystone HR on the process.
Assistance with ad-hoc and project requirements as required by the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer
