Job Summary

Solution Architect Operations Intern - Job Description

Spot (by NetApp) is looking for a talented, sharp intern to join our Solution Architecture
team to help drive our success across EMEA and APAC. This role provides the opportunity
to join a rocketship company that is now on a very steep growth trajectory after being
acquired by NetApp.

Our Solution Architect team is the fore-front of customer engagement, leading technical
activities with prospects from discovery calls, to demos and POCs.

This is a unique opportunity to enter the fast moving cloud market and learn how scaling in
SaaS business works. Our operations intern will work with the solution architects, sales and
marketing teams, and with our parent company NetApp to drive operational excellence,
collaboration and revenue.

**Responsibilities**:
Understand the basics of the customer's cloud environment and onboard them to
Spot platforms by following documented procedures
Work with support and product teams to do troubleshooting if required
Build and support operational processes related to our solution architect team to
help speed up and increase success of technical procedures
Document procedures and processes to build a strong intellectual property
repository
Promote knowledge sharing and learning across our teams
Upkeep Salesforce data to ensure data preservation and transfer across teams
Collaborate with multiple teams across the company to ensure our team’s
success

Job Requirements

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Previous cloud knowledge on any one of the platforms - AWS / Azure / GCP
Basic understanding of cloud pricing and cost
Proactive, can-do approach - prefer hands-on work to achieve results
Process and detail oriented - organized problem solver and efficiency
promoter, ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little supervision
Top-notch communication skills (also in English), collaborative, get-along
character that can make people from different parts of the company and higher
seniority levels “work for you”
Team player, constantly looking to do whatever generates value for the team

**A plus**:
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to fetch insights from raw data and make it presentable to the customers.
Experience in working at a global organization
Experience in a technological company
Having a cloud certification or willingness to earn one in the first 2 months.

Education

Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent degree
