Preschool Pe Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons and activities that align with early childhood development standards.
- Teach basic movement skills, coordination, balance, and teamwork in a fun and inclusive manner.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment where children feel confident to participate in physical activities.
- Develop age-appropriate exercises and games that promote motor skills, flexibility, and fitness.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide individual support where necessary.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for all students, ensuring proper supervision during physical activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum and daily routine.
- Encourage positive behaviors, teamwork, and good sportsmanship during physical activities.
- Maintain communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all PE equipment is safe, clean, and properly maintained.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of child development and how it relates to physical education.
- Passionate about fostering children’s physical health and fitness.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
**Work Environment**:
- Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm - Willing to travel between campuses
