You are part of a team that is responsible to manage the strategic communications effort for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)’s capability and organisational developments, through the development of relevant strategic communication and information management plans. You review and revise Information Management Plans for existing RSAF projects, where necessary. You will require a good understanding of considerations such as identifying areas to be released to the public, developing the information management approach and preparing the necessary publicity collaterals. You also provide RSAF inputs to MINDEF/SAF speeches and interviews based on the guidelines stipulated in the Information Management Plans, and to advice RSAF units/formations on portrayal matters. In addition, you vet online, print and audio-visual materials that contains RSAF-related information to ensure positive portrayal of the RSAF while ensuring adherence to the Information Management Plans.

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably with 2 to 3 years' experience in policy, plans, defence relations or communication. Having a good command of the English language and the ability to think critically taking into consideration strategic intent (defence & diplomacy) when developing information management plans is essential. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
