Warehouse Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities

**JOB SUMMARY**

To ensure that the materials are received, stored and issued according to operating procedures by the receiving, handle new / revised procedure / guideline for warehouse and conduct training and solve issue relating to warehouse

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receive and Release Goods in Warehouse
- Order picking according to pick list requirement
- Receipt of all materials coming into warehouse, providing assurance that the quantity and quality of such materials are as ordered
- Verify and ensure accuracy on out-going shipment.
- Maintain the Stock Inventory accuracy daily cycle count, reconcile the discrepancy, stock adjustment
- Assist in yearly stock audit
- Responsible for the daily housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse/ storage facility.
- Be trained in Stacker operations to be able to perform duty in the warehouse/storage facility effectively
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when required to do so by the management.
- Assist in reviewing and analysing goods location plan, when required.
- To ensure that GR ,GI, STO is updated on time in-house system and transmit to S4 promptly to meet KPI target
- Customer service orientated and able to solve daily operation Issue
- Handle new / revised procedure / guideline for warehouse and conduct training
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor in assigning daily work activities according to the availability and capacity of the department and priority completion
- Liaison with forwarders to ensure on-time delivery

**AUTHORITY**
- Access to Autocount system to update and perform inventory check
- Co-ordinate with internal supervisors and external forwarders for on-time delivery

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ level or SPM equivalent.
- Required accounting knowledge relating to inventory cut off (stock transfer, goods in transit ,etc)
- Minimum have relevant administrative experience in warehousing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse systems (Autocount, SAP, MSD, S4)
