**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing goods within the warehouse. The Warehouse Assistant works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and the merchandising team to maintain inventory accuracy, fulfil orders and uphold safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:
1. **Order Fulfilment**
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists.
- Scan and upload outgoing inventory before delivery.

2. **Inventory Management**
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records using warehouse management system.

3. **General Warehouse Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse facility.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.

4. **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding workload, inventory status and any issues or concerns that arise.
- Provide support and assistance toother departments as needed.

**Qualifications**:
1. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

3. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring repetitive motions.

4. A good team player.

5. Willingness to always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
