**Immediate Position**:

**Job scope**:

- Monitoring and evaluating the day to day performance of the vessels which is in lay up in shipyard, ensuring that the FPSO is in compliance with all applicable HSEQ, Company’s policies and procedures and initiating and implementing corrective action when such performance does not meet BWO standards.
- Keep in close discussion and reporting with head office Technical maintenance manager and Project Manager (Project management team) and inform for any immediate maintenance and repair that is deemed required to be done. Based on approval from project management team for such work, provide instruction to shipyard to carry out the activities.
- Periodical detailed condition inspection of vessel, including structural assessment of cargo and ballast tanks, where available completing the relevant ship visit reports, tracking and dealing with the findings, their follow-up and their timely close-out with managers.
- Perform periodical preservation activities using the shipyard resource.
- Evaluate the scope and advise clearly to yard via instruction activities to be carried out.
- Part of the projects team, review and recommend Repair life extension scope and also be a part of the bidding as requested by the project manager.
- Communicating, coordinating and attending shipyard routine operation. Attend to any emergencies raised by shipyard and should be able to take immediate corrective actions.
- Provide periodical vessel condition report to Head office.
- The position will be full time stationed in Shipyard.

**Other requirements**:

- Previous seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or 2nd engineer.
- Holds a Valid Class I or Class II ticket.
- Proven track record of handling tankers
- FPSO operating experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a 2nd engineer.
- Need to be on-board vessel
- Rotational Shiftwork
