**The opportunity: About the role**:

- Remote Asia based role, full-time_

As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for customer and revenue acquisition across your region, contributing to team targets.

Reporting to VP of Sales, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans to exceed targets
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Building sales pipeline via outbound sales activities
- Maintaining customer and sales records via Dynamics CRM
- Represent FiberSense at conferences and networking events
- Research current business drivers for key stakeholders within our customer verticals
- Reporting key metrics, including pipeline activities and revenue back to FiberSense leadership
- Host webinars and contribute to design of webinar content

**Within 90 days, you will have**:

- High level understanding of key products and customer markets
- Can use basic functionality on Dynamics CRM to create opportunities and track activity
- Built out customer target list (prospects)

**Within 180 days, you will have**:

- Converted prospects into customer meetings
- Contributed to pipeline through the introduction of new customer leads
- Close first sale by 180 days
- Multiple customer touchpoints

**About you: The type of person who will be a good fit**Essential**:

- 5+ years' experience in an enterprise sales role
- Strong track record of closing sales
- Based in Asia

**Highly desired**:

- Selling to Utilities or Government (Water, Power, Gas, Telecoms)
- Knowledge of fiber or utility networks
- Experience using CRM's (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Experience doing robust customer needs analysis. Ability to analyse and understand the core customer problem, needs, budget to inform sales approach.
