**About our group**:
Sputter process engineering is responsible for creating an efficient & reliable process (both hardware and settings) for each product to ensure smooth production.

**About the role - you will**:
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the incumbent will:

- Responsible for daily sputter machine yield and defects.
- Work with Failure Analysis Personnel to understand source of defects and take respective action.
- Study different brands of target and its impact to sputter defects, machine response and magnetic performance.
- Liaise with specific suppliers on issues and improvement.
- Work closely with equipment and maintenance team on various projects to improve quality/cost/productivity.
- Handles product transfer optimization, focusing on defectivity.
- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to operators and technicians involved in sputtering operations. Share knowledge and best practices to build team capabilities.

**About you**:

- Bachelor Degree in Material Science, Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Strong engineering knowledge, ability to blend various discipline of vacuum physics, magnetic fundamentals, materials science & microstructure and some machine mechanics.
- Ability to pick up relevant knowledge at ease with good knowledge of physics.
- Familiar with data analysis using one of these tools like excel, jmp, minitab, tableau.
- A good team player.
- Excellent communication skill is required.
