DESIGNATION : Marketing Manager (1-year contract), IIE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE)
- Build brand and raise awareness of the Protégé Venture programme
- Key liaison between MarComms and Programme teams to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise with programme managers to stay updated on new products and features
- Work closely with the student leaders of the programme to provide marketing direction and support
- Build community through events and relationship management
- Facilitate development of peer-to-peer relationships among the respective students, startups and corporate communities
- Develop new partner opportunities by researching and identifying potential partnerships
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the I&E eco-system
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns to promote online presence and deliver value proposition through the use of various digital marketing channels and platforms
- Analyze digital marketing campaign schedules, roadmaps and creative briefs to determine factors affecting implementation of the campaign
- Develop implementation plans based on digital strategy campaigns, including developing budget for each digital channel and platform
- Evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing channels and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop processes to create a seamless online presence over web, social, mobile and other digital platforms for Protege Venture
- Formulate, execute and evaluate social media strategic plans to establish positive relationships with industry and stakeholders and proactively seek innovative marketing opportunities
- Develop social media strategies aimed at acquisition, engagement and conversion through the creation of marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes
- Evaluate effectiveness of social media activities and platforms to identify opportunities for improvement
- Review and analyze customer behaviours, interests and demographics based on social media network data
- Manage responses, reviews, comments across social network platforms with the aim to uphold interest within the l&E community
- Supports IIE Corporate Communications in content copy including contributing content to the quarterly Greenhouse Effect newsletter on programmes assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in areas such as business, marketing or related fields
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented and team-oriented with a strong desire to be successful
- Able to think creatively and problem-solve in high pressure situations
- Strong work ethic as well as a dedicated and positive attitude
- A keen sense of ownership and accountability and act with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
- Think beyond own area of responsibility examining linkages and interactions between different parts of a system
- Diligent and outcome driven
- Strong knowledge of budget, grant administration and financial management principles
- Up-to-date with industry trends in the innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system
- Prior experience working in venture capital firms, startup, or knowledge in innovation and entrepreneurship will be viewed favorably
