**Role**

Kennedys Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Associate or Senior Associate with 4+ years' PQE in insurance dispute resolution (including coverage experience), preferably within the Property, Energy & Construction space to join us on a fixed-term secondment or permanent basis.

Working closely with one of the region's leading insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution Partners, Mark Errington, you will gain hands-on exposure of advising insurer/reinsurer clients on large and complex speciality claims across property, construction, engineering, energy, and terrorism product lines.

Recent examples of our work include coverage disputes and /or recoveries arising out of losses in the Maldives, Vietnam, Laos, Morocco, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Korea, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand, Macau SAR, New Caledonia, Nepal, Pakistan, Australia, the United States, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

The successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of international work across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

Kennedys Singapore office was established in 2008 and in 2015 entered into a joint law venture (JLV) with local Singapore law firm, Legal Solutions to create Kennedys Legal Solutions.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- A strong disputes Lawyer with 4 years + PQE and exposure to insurance coverage - ideally within the property, energy and construction space
- We are willing to consider applicants with more or less than 4 years PQE, providing they have the applicable knowledge and ambition to succeed
- Strong international arbitration experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent academics
- You will possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrate the proven ability to manage your own time with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics
- Flexible attitude towards working practices and ability to adapt style as required
