The FaaS team is committed to creating a highly available and easily expandable universal serverless computing platform, following the concept of service functionalization. Currently, the serverless computing platform carries tens of millions of requests per second.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the team to design and develop FaaS, building a highly available and easily scalable serverless computing platform;
- Design and develop FaaS worker Wasm and v8 runtime, and explore stateful Serverless Computing;
- Play a key role in driving project objectives and execution management, architecture design and code reviews, define long term technical roadmap for the team, and demonstrate technical leadership;
- Recruit and mentor engineers of various levels of experience into a performant team, build team culture and cohesion, help team members grow technical capabilities;
- Work closely with stakeholder teams to identify business pain points, continuously optimize and improve customer experience, team reputation, and impact.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields;
- 6+ years of professional software development experience;
- Proven experience with one or more languages such as Go, Python, Java, Node.js, Rust;
- Expert in large-scale distributed systems with complex problem solving abilities. Able to think clearly and quickly to deep dive into problems and solve them;
- Good communication skills, able to lead and drive projects effectively. Familiar with team and project management methodologies and approaches.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical management of a software engineering team;
- Experience with open source projects such as Firecracker, KVM, Kubernetes, OpenFaaS, Knative;
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Google Function, Azure Function and other products;
- Contributor/Committer or PMC of the open-source community is a plus.
