**The Role**
We are seeking a foundational Brand Manager to establish and grow our company's presence and reputation in Singapore and the wider APAC region. This is a pivotal role where you will not be just managing a brand but shaping the very identity of a company that defines brand excellence for others. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that communicates our unique value proposition, builds prestige around our awards, and drives demand for our consultancy services and training programs.
This is a unique "meta" opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the power of branding itself.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Brand Strategy & Engagement Development**:
- Develop and implement the brand strategy for our Singapore entity, ensuring it aligns with the parent company's heritage while resonating with the local and regional market.
- Define our brand positioning, messaging, voice, and value proposition to a B2B audience of C-level executives, marketing directors, and business owners.
- Plan and execute multi-channel branding campaigns to build brand awareness and generate leads for both our awards programs and consultancy services.
- Engage with all stakeholders and shareholders to inform and promote The BrandLaureate’s initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with media, industry publications, and key influencers to secure press coverage and public relations opportunities
**Awards Program Management**
- Develop the marketing and communications strategy for our flagship brand awards.
- Drive the call-for-entries and nomination process through targeted outreach and promotional campaigns.
- Craft the narrative around the awards, highlighting their prestige, rigorous judging process, and the value of winning.
- Leverage award winners and their stories to create powerful post-event marketing content and testimonials.
**Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with industry associations, business chambers, and other relevant organisations to enhance our brand reach and credibility.
- Support the business development team by creating high-quality sales and marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, proposals).
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and refinement of our strategy.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brand management, B2B marketing, or a related role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand and marketing strategies from the ground up.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives for a sophisticated business audience.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, PR, and social media marketing, particularly within a B2B context.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate independently in a startup environment while leveraging the resources of an established parent company.
- Experience in a professional services, consulting, or B2B agency environment is highly advantageous.
